Identify The Lite Community Celebration

At the end of August, Breakfast Club E.A.T. & Creative Netwerk presented "Identify The Lite: Harlem Community Celebration." This epic event was hosted by Chrybaby Cozie at the Milbank Community Center in Harlem, which was one of the first cultural sites for Litefeet, a Harlem-born dance that is now an art form practiced world-wide! The free community event included free classes, a party, documentary showing, battles, honorary cyphers, and live performances by JMack EZ, 2Crafty, Bomb Squad, and more! Dancers from across generations and across the city gathered for a legendary cultural event that was such a success, that we plan to throw another "Identify The Lite" celebration on December 9th. Stay tuned for more details! In the meantime, we are still soaking in the positive impact of seeing so many vibrant students, families, and community leaders all in one space celebrating culture together through dance and music.

An event to remember for a lifetime. The event at Milbank put together by Creative Netwerk was such a great experience that I will never forget! They showed the litefeet documentary that aired on CBS Sports, and I battled in the 7 to smoke, and got to see the youth turn up, I can't wait for the next one!
